I was happy to host Dennis Thornton, a Rockford native and graduate of Boylan Catholic High School, in Springfield as my Page-for-a-Day. He has a strong foundation in public administration and policy with his journey beginning with a summer internship at SupplyCore Inc. in 2019, where he gained experience in governmental affairs. He then graduated from Augustana College in 2020 with a double major in Political Science and Communications. Currently, Dennis is pursuing a Masters in Public Administration at DePaul University, focusing on public policy and healthcare administration, with plans to graduate in August 2023. His career aspirations include lobbying and working on partisan staff post-graduation, reflecting his commitment to public service.
