Rep. Cabello to Host Northwest Illinois Businesses at International Business Forum

Loves Park, IL — State Representative John M. Cabello (R-Machesney Park) is inviting local businesses to attend his 2nd Annual International Business Forum scheduled for December 12th at the Loves Park City Hall.

The forum will feature presentations by six consul generals from the countries of Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, and Taiwan. Each participating country will provide key insights tailored to the Northwest Illinois business community on how they can begin to engage in trade with foreign markets.

“This event is a great opportunity for local businesses to explore international markets and build new partnerships,” said Rep. Cabello. “I encourage all businesses in our community, especially those involved in the manufacturing, industrial, and agricultural sectors to join us, connect with these international representatives, and consider new ways for your business to grow and succeed.”

The forum will feature opportunities for networking with other local businesses and representatives from regional and state organizations. Participating organizations include: Illinois Chamber of Commerce; Greater Freeport Partnership; Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce; Parks Chamber of Commerce; Stateline Chamber of Commerce; Stephenson County Farm Bureau; & Winnebago-Boone County Farm Bureau.
