Rep. Cabello to Partner with Illinois Tollway for I-PASS On Demand Event

DURAND, IL – To help motorists transition to the new I-PASS sticker technology replacing plastic transponders, State Representative John M. Cabello (R-Machesney Park) and Durand Mayor Sheila Hoffman are partnering with the Illinois Tollway to host an I-PASS On Demand Event on Saturday, March 8, from 9 AM to 2 PM at 308 West Main Street, Durand, IL 61024.

Illinois Tollway officials will be on-site to assist residents in transferring to the new sticker technology, ensuring a smooth transition without disruption to their I-PASS account. Officials will also be available to answer questions about I-PASS accounts and assist with ‘Pay by Plate’ issues.

Once activated, the sticker tag will be usable on the Illinois Tollway and E-ZPass roadways in other states within 24 hours. There is no deposit required for the new sticker, and the $10 transponder deposit previously paid will transfer to the new account upon activation.
