Assistant Minority Leader and State Representative John M. Cabello is partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to host a Mobile DMV event on Monday, March 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Durand Solutions Bank, located at 1005 Cameron Drive in Durand.
Guests may apply for REAL ID, renew or correct a driver’s license or State ID, and/or renew a vehicle sticker at the Mobile DMV event. Registration is required to receive services. Area residents are invited to register for an appointment by clicking HERE.
“This event offers residents an opportunity to receive DMV services at a convenient location without having to travel further to a permanent DMV facility,” Representative Cabello said. “I am pleased to partner with the Secretary of State’s office to ensure DMV services are accessible to everyone in the rural Winnebago and Stephenson County area.”
Driver’s tests will not be administered. Seniors aged 78 and older must visit a DMV to renew their driver’s license. All payments must be made by personal check, credit card, debit card, or money order. Cash payments are not accepted. Guests must show proper forms of identification to receive services. In addition to the Mobile DMV services, Representative Cabello’s staff will be on hand to assist constituents with questions or concerns regarding legislation, state resources, or help interacting with a State of Illinois agency or program.
