Rep. John Cabello joined Rep. Joe Sosnowski and House Minority Leader Tony McCombie on Thursday to welcome members of the Rock Valley College Student Government Association to the State Capitol, who were in Springfield to participate in the Student Advocacy Day hosted by the Illinois Community College Board. The annual event brings together student leaders from Illinois’ 45 community colleges to engage in the legislative process and share their perspectives on issues impacting community colleges.
Rep. Cabello enjoyed the opportunity to meet the RVC students and encourage their civic participation.
