ROCKFORD, IL – State Representative John M. Cabello (R-Machesney Park) will host two free property tax appeal events this August to help residents better understand and navigate the appeals process.
“Property taxes and reckless government spending continue to burden working families across Northwest Illinois,” said Rep. Cabello. “These events are about giving residents the tools they need to push back and demand fairness.”
The events are scheduled as follows:
Winnebago County
- Saturday, August 2
- 12:00 P.M. – 1:30 P.M.

In addition to the property tax appeal presentation, legislative staff will also be available to answer questions about state issues and assist with constituent services.
